She is currently putting the finishing touches on a movie Yucatan Travel: Cancun to Chichen Itza slated for release this fall. Carol is also working on a book expected to be out later in 2011 entitled Have Your Heart's Desire: Tools for a Happier, Healthier, Wealthier Life. It is the first release of the Your Psychic Awakening series, a series devoted to strengthening individuals' connection between their conscious and unconscious, thus improving their psychic awareness.

When Carol is the keynote speaker at weekend spiritual retreats, she often invites participants to join her at sunrise to greet the rising sun. In When We Were Gods, she wrote about her hypnosis sessions, in which spiritual guides appeared. They said they had a message for humankind and that "the root of our undoing was that we live our lives as if we are greater than God and the antidote was to greet the rising sun saying, 'God is greater,' three times." "You can imagine my astonishment when I walked down the cafeteria aisle next lunch hour, tray in hand, and I saw a man standing with his back to me filling his glass at the water fountain ... I was surprised to discover that this man at the water fountain looked like someone I had met before.
